Custom millwork built in our shop and installed in homes throughout the Okanagan: entertainment walls, closets, mudrooms, offices, and storage designed for the specific room it sits in. None of this is off the shelf, and none of it could be.

Individual built-ins in this collection typically ran $6,000 to $28,000 depending on size, material, and hardware. Each took eight to twelve weeks from first measurement to installed, with six to ten of those weeks spent building in the shop after drawings were approved.

What to look for in this work

Scribed to walls that are not straight

Walls in Okanagan homes are rarely plumb and ceilings rarely level. Every piece here was scribed on site, meaning filler and trim were cut to follow the actual surface. It is why these units sit flush with no gap line, and it is the thing a flat-pack unit ordered to nominal dimensions can never do.

Hardware chosen for daily use

Soft-close hinges and full-extension undermount slides throughout, with specialty mechanisms where they earn their place: lift-up doors, pull-out pantry systems, corner organizers, integrated waste units. These add $1,500 to $5,000 across a project and are the parts you operate every single day.

Finishes matched to the existing home

Several of these were added to finished houses, which meant matching an existing paint colour, stain, door profile, or hardware so the new work reads as original. Where the original profile was no longer manufactured, we had a knife cut to reproduce it.

Interior construction you can check

Open a drawer and look at the box. These are built from high-grade plywood and hardwood rather than particleboard, with jointed and glued construction rather than cam locks. It is the difference between millwork measured in decades and furniture measured in years.
